Held by Grace
Walking with God Through Every Season
Scripture:
“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
2 Corinthians 12:9 NIV
There are seasons in life when we feel strong, confident, and full of faith. Then there are seasons when we feel weary, uncertain, overwhelmed, and emotionally drained. In those moments, it can feel like we are carrying the weight of life alone. But the beautiful truth of God’s Word is this: WE ARE HELD BY GRACE.
To be held in grace by the Lord means that God lovingly sustains us even when we are weak. His grace is not reserved for perfect people who have everything together. Grace is for the tired woman trying to keep going. Grace is for the mother praying quietly for her children. Grace is for the woman healing from disappointment, walking through transition, or trusting God one day at a time.
God’s grace holds us steady when life feels uncertain. It reminds us that His love does not change based on our struggles, mistakes, or fears. Even in difficult seasons, His hand remains upon us. When we feel like giving up, He gives strength. When we feel anxious, He gives peace. When we feel alone, He reminds us that He is near.
“Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”
Hebrews 4:16 NIV
Sometimes we believe we must carry every burden ourselves, but God never asked us to live that way. He calls us to rest in Him, trust Him, and lean on His strength instead of our own. Grace means we do not have to strive endlessly to earn God’s love. We are already loved, already seen, and already held by Him.
“But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect.”
1 Corinthians 15:10 NIV
Even when we feel inadequate, God’s grace continues to work in our lives. His grace strengthens us to keep moving forward, even through difficult seasons. We may not always understand the journey, but we can trust the One who walks beside us.
“For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people.”
Titus 2:11 NIV
As women of faith, we can walk confidently through every season knowing that God’s grace is covering us. Whether we are navigating motherhood, healing, uncertainty, or spiritual growth, the Lord is faithfully holding our hand through it all.
“The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace.”
Psalm 29:11 NIV
Today, take a deep breath and remember:
You are not forgotten.
You are not alone.
You are held by the grace of God.
